Trendyol Commission Rates 2026: How Fees Are Calculated, Shipping Thresholds and Campaign Traps (With Examples)

Trendyol commission rates in 2026: category ranges, the commission formula, shipping thresholds and service fee, break-even price and a campaign offer example.

    TL;DR — Summary

    • Trendyol's commission depends on category, brand, seller and campaign; public 2026 compilations put most categories between 5% and 27% (phones 5–7%, cosmetics 15–20%, apparel and footwear 18–23%). The binding rate is the one in your seller panel's commission table.
    • Commission = Sale price × Commission rate. On a TRY 600 product at 20%, the commission is TRY 120. Total deductions are larger: Deductions = Commission + Shipping + Platform service fee.
    • On cheap products fixed fees outweigh commission: deductions are 48% of a TRY 300 T-shirt but 6.6% of a TRY 15,000 phone (illustrative amounts).
    • Shipping thresholds (TRY 200 and 350) make small price changes swing profit: moving a product from TRY 205 to TRY 199.90 lifts profit per order from TRY 0.55 to TRY 28.19.

What are Trendyol's commission rates in 2026? (Short answer)

Trendyol, Turkey's largest online marketplace, has no single commission rate. The rate depends on the product's category and subcategory, the brand, the seller's level, seller-specific agreements and any campaign you join. Public Turkish compilations from 2026 put most categories between 5% and 27%: single digits for phones and computers, 15–20% for cosmetics, 18–23% for apparel, footwear, bags and accessories, and 25–27% for phone spare parts.

Treat these ranges as orientation only. The binding rate for your product is shown in the commission table under the commercial terms section of your seller panel, and per category when you list a product. Amounts in this guide are in Turkish lira (TRY), because that is how Trendyol charges sellers.

Opening a store and listing products is free; commission is charged only on completed sales. But commission is not the only deduction from your payout: shipping and a fixed platform service fee per order are deducted too. This guide calculates all three together.

Why does every site list different Trendyol commission rates?

When we compared the top Turkish guides side by side, the same category had different numbers, and one guide even gave three different apparel ranges in different sections. There are three reasons: the figures were compiled at different times (January to July 2026), some lists state rates on a different basis (with or without taxes), and because rates vary by subcategory and seller, each list picks its own 'average'.

    • Apparel / footwear / bags: Paraşüt (Jan 2026) 21.5–22.5% · BirFatura (Jul 2026) 21.36% · Fikri (Jul 2026) 18%
    • Cosmetics and personal care: 17–20% · 17–20% · 15%
    • Mobile phones: 5–6% · 5–7% · 7%
    • White goods: 9–11% (Paraşüt and BirFatura)
    • Toys: Paraşüt 20–22% · BirFatura 16.5%
    • Phone spare parts: 25–27% (Paraşüt and BirFatura)

How is the Trendyol commission calculated?

Commission is charged on the price the customer pays: Commission = Sale price × Commission rate. If you sell at a discount during a campaign, the commission applies to the discounted price, so a TRY 1,000 item sold for TRY 900 pays commission on TRY 900.

Example: a TRY 600 product with a 20% rate pays 600 × 0.20 = TRY 120 in commission. To find what reaches your account, add shipping and the platform service fee. All calculations here use illustrative amounts and leave taxes out; the Trendyol Profit Calculator handles the full calculation.

    • Commission = Sale price × Commission rate
    • Total deductions = Commission + Shipping + Platform service fee
    • Payout = Sale price − Total deductions
    • Profit per order = Payout − Product cost − Packaging − (share of returns and ads)

What other fees does Trendyol charge?

Platform service fee: a fixed amount per delivered shipment, not charged on return parcels. As of October 2026 public sources list it at TRY 10.99, and in June 2026 a lower fee was announced for parcels tagged 'Bugün Kargoda' (shipped today) and handed to the carrier the same day. It has changed several times this year, so check the Seller Information Center.

Shipping: under Trendyol's contracted shipping model, baskets below TRY 350 pay a fixed 'barem' rate (thresholds at TRY 200 and 350 since 26 March 2026); from TRY 350 the fee depends on the parcel's volumetric weight (desi = length × width × height / 3000, compared with actual weight).

Illustrative amounts from the 10 August 2026 tariff (Trendyol Express, shipped within 1 day): TRY 38.74 for baskets up to 199.99, TRY 70.41 for 200–349.99; from TRY 350, 0–2 desi TRY 81.95, 5 desi TRY 114.10, 10 desi TRY 164.18. Standard handling time, other carriers and barem conditions change these amounts.

    Deductions by category: three examples

Because shipping and the service fee are fixed, total deductions as a share of price rise quickly on cheap products. Service fee TRY 10.99 and the sample tariff above (illustrative amounts):

A seller of TRY 300 T-shirts leaves almost half the price in deductions before paying for the product. In low-price categories, growing basket size (bundles, multipacks) and managing the shipping tier move profit more than negotiating commission.

    • Apparel, TRY 300 T-shirt, sample rate 21%, 200–349.99 tier: 63 + 70.41 + 10.99 = TRY 144.40 deductions (48.1% of price); payout TRY 155.60
    • Cosmetics, TRY 450 product, sample rate 17%, 1 desi: 76.50 + 81.95 + 10.99 = TRY 169.44 (37.7%); payout TRY 280.56
    • Mobile phone, TRY 15,000, sample rate 6%, 2 desi: 900 + 81.95 + 10.99 = TRY 992.94 (6.6%); payout TRY 14,007.06

How do shipping thresholds change your profit?

    Lower threshold (TRY 200): at TRY 205 with a 21% rate and TRY 80 product cost, deductions are 43.05 + 70.41 + 10.99 = TRY 124.45, payout TRY 80.55, profit TRY 0.55. At TRY 199.90 deductions fall to 41.98 + 38.74 + 10.99 = TRY 91.71, payout TRY 108.19, profit TRY 28.19. Cutting the price by TRY 5.10 adds TRY 27.64 of profit.

Upper threshold (TRY 350): a 5-desi product at TRY 345 pays TRY 70.41 barem shipping and nets TRY 204.95 at a 17% rate. At TRY 355 it moves to the desi tariff (TRY 114.10) and nets TRY 169.56: you charge TRY 10 more and keep TRY 35.39 less. Check the shipping tier before any price change.

How do you find the break-even price on Trendyol?

Since commission grows with price, break-even is not just 'cost + fees'. Break-even price = (Product cost + Shipping + Service fee + Packaging) / (1 − Commission rate). For a target margin: Target price = (Cost + Shipping + Service fee + Packaging) / (1 − Commission rate − Target margin).

    Example: a T-shirt costing TRY 90 with TRY 5 packaging, 21% commission, TRY 70.41 shipping and TRY 10.99 fee breaks even at (90 + 70.41 + 10.99 + 5) / 0.79 = TRY 223.29. For a 15% margin on sales the price is 176.40 / 0.64 = TRY 275.63. Both stay in the 200–349.99 tier; if a result lands in another tier, swap in that tier's shipping and recalculate.

Is a reduced-commission campaign offer profitable?

Marketplaces sometimes offer a lower commission in exchange for a lower price. Profit per order usually falls, so the campaign pays only if volume rises enough.

    Example: a product costing TRY 300 with TRY 81.95 shipping earns 600 − 120 − 81.95 − 10.99 − 300 = TRY 87.06 per order at TRY 600 and 20%. At TRY 540 and 16% it earns 540 − 86.40 − 81.95 − 10.99 − 300 = TRY 60.66. To match total profit, unit sales must rise 87.06 / 60.66 = 1.435×, at least 43.5%. Rule: Required sales lift = Current profit per order / Campaign profit per order − 1.

What happens to commission and shipping on returns?

According to public seller guides, the commission on a returned order is refunded (offset on a later invoice), but outbound shipping, usually return shipping and packaging stay with the seller. Return cost per order = Return rate × (Outbound + Return shipping + Packaging). With a 10% return rate, TRY 81.95 each way and TRY 5 packaging, every order carries 0.10 × 168.90 = TRY 16.89 of return cost.

That leaves the ad budget: in the cosmetics example, 280.56 − 150 cost − 5 packaging − 16.89 returns = TRY 108.67 before ads, so break-even ROAS = 450 / 108.67 ≈ 4.1. Any Trendyol, Meta or Google campaign below 4.1 ROAS loses money on this product.

How can you lower your Trendyol fees?

Most sellers cannot negotiate the commission rate directly, but they can reduce total deductions. Programs and rates change often, so verify each item in the seller panel.

    • List in the right subcategory: the wrong category means a different rate and lost visibility
    • New-seller period and programs: public sources mention a special rate for new sellers for a limited time and lower rates in the women entrepreneur program
    • Seller level: higher performance levels unlock more campaign and rate options
    • Accept campaign offers only after calculating the required sales lift
    • Manage non-commission costs: the shipping tier, desi (smaller boxes), same-day dispatch and return rate often add more profit than a commission cut
